The Scoville Brothers are two chili heads brought together by a mutual love of all things hot and spicy, and music that will keep almost anyone’s foot tapping. The name Scoville Brothers comes from the Scoville unit, which is the measure of heat for chili peppers. |

Doug LinsDoug has been a fixture on the local country scene for almost 20 years. When he’s not playing with his band, Route 49, he is lending his superb picking style to other bands who are in need of one of the best guitarists in the area. Not only is Doug an excellent guitarist, he also plays a mean mandolin. His vocal style is well suited to rockabilly, country and bluegrass. Doug is also the owner and proprietor of Willowtree Recording Studio in Kouts, IN.

Jeff YoungJeff Young has played guitar for over 30 years and was a regular on the local acoustic scene in the 1980’s and early 1990’s. After a twelve year hiatus, he is back and playing with a vengeance. Jeff's strong clear tenor voice is equally suited to crooning a ballad or belting out a classic rocker. Also an excellent guitarist, his arrangements on six and twelve string guitars are key to the Scoville Brothers sound.
